Transfers by ACH are free and withdrawals are limited to 6 per cycle. Outgoing wire transfers are $15 per transfer.

I wonder whether it is free or not to have a online withdraw from FNBO savings account? Thanks.

The rate was 5.25% apy before the promo started and I am hoping it doesn't go lower than that after the promo ends. HSBC is at 5.05%, so I think that is the lowest rate that FNBO would consider going with. I wouldn't count on FNBO keeping the 6% rate after Sept 28.

I have had fast results "pushing" funds from my AmTrust Direct account into FNBO... Only about a day to complete.
For "pulling" from FNBO from my local checking, it does take 3-4 days.
So far, pretty smooth though and I hope they keep a good high competitive rate after the 6% promo.

So far it has been very easy. Just taking an extra day to transfer compared to other accounts. According to FNBO all funds going to treasury dept for day then being transfered because they are new online.

Like Terry, I had to do the trial deposit twice. This, despit having checked the option to save the linked account information when initially funding the account. Disappointed in the length of time it takes for deposits to be processed ... > 3 days. Pros are nice, clean web site interface, great rate and friendly phone support.

Today (day 3) I received my second trial depost to set up my external funding account. Did that and have initiated my first transfer (besides openning deposit). Now for the wait to see how long it takes to show. Everything is still moving along well imo.

So far, the process has been smooth. I have an account number and access to my account. Only problem I have run into is that they are making me do the trial deposit thing a second time, even though I clicked the save my funding account option on my initial deposit. I have got this far in only 2 days, without calling customer service, and that is remarkable from my experiences with openning some online accounts. I will keep my fingers crossed that it keeps moving along without a hitch. I will let everyone know when the process is complete.

I'll probably be following your lead. So far, I haven't seen the new lower rate hit my Amboy account yet. It could be just a matter of time.

I'm going to give this a try with some of the money from my shrinking Amboy account...I will let everyone know how it goes.
