GMAC Bank is superb in every way. I've been banking with them for over a year now. Great customer service. As opposed to WaMu which should have been allowed to go down the drain forever.

Have stayed with them for over a year. Online software is excellent and user friendly. If needed, telephone customer service is courteous and helpful.

GMAC Bank is a class act unlike some other "online" banks that just pretend to be online (Zions). Everything is real-time.

Very fast, very efficient opening of account and you get account number right away. You can also log on immediately after you submitted application and got accepted. Non-GMAC ATM fees reimbursed up to $6 without the need to mail in ATM receipts as proof (such as EverBank's stupid policy)

rate up and down so frequently, unbelievable. But you can use checks.
