Grand Yield Direct is the consumer online service of Apple Bank for Savings, which has been in operation since 1863 and services over $5 billion in assets. Grand Yield Direct's main product is the Grand Yield Savings Direct account. At one point, the savings account paid out a grand yield of 5.27% apy, but the yield has since deflated to a sub 1.00% apy.

Account Notes
Grand Yield Savings Direct customers (with funds on deposit for at least 30 days) have the option to open a Grand Yield Direct Advantage Interest Checking Account, which as of the time of this writing, actually pays more than the savings account. The Grand Yield Direct Checking Account can be opened by mail only. It requires a minimum deposit of $100 to open and must have a $2,500 minimum balance daily in the account to receive the maximum rate.
