I was forced to close my business account recently as the bank is deceptive and ugly. I had an overdraft on my account and it dissappeared no one at the bank or at the coorperate HQ could say where it went that cost me $135 in fees. Recently, my account dropped below a certain level and there was another $17.00 fee. It has been going on for years with my account. I closed my account and the bank manager told me they could have erased the fee. I smiled at her and walked out. If you are an American who cares take your money out of this terrible bank - go to a credit union. Remember, this is one of the banks that brought us this long and painful recession and they don't care one bit. They have continued their shoddy practices, while our lame government protects them.

Are you kidding me. My husband died in 2009 I paid the mortgage for 8 months until me and my kids could not be in the house any longer. told them I was leaving four months before I left. I never got a returned call the realtor had over ten offers for a short sale on our home the bank never responded. Even after I left I kept and paid the electric and filled the oil tank all winter, still never heard a word just two years later the house I get mail addressed to my late husband do you want to save your home. Also we have sent them 8 death certificates. No wonder our country is in crisis financially. Even a tragedy cannot get you help. I hope they all go down.

Been using B of A for over 15 years for checking and credit cards and haven't had any problems. Their bill pay is fantastic as they don't take the money out of your account until the day you want unlike Chase that pulls your cash out before it's transferred or the check is deposited.

Bank of America has always been geared to take from their customers.I'm thankful that I dropped them years ago. I would not recommend them.

I am stuck with BAC because they purchased my previous mortgage company. Calling them gets tranferred at least eight times before you get disconnected...when you finally do reach someone, they do not know how to handle your situation and the tranferring begins again. They refuse to work you on loan modifications; they told to just give them my house keys...can you believe them? My interest rate is scheduled to go up in a couple of months when other banks have rates at 4% and below. Shouldn't they at least keep it @6.3 and not take it up to 9% like the last time? I am so sick of them.

Get readfy to move your money from BOA to a credit union, just yake some money from your BOA account, open a savings, money market, checking, etc. then after you have your new debit card make contacts to have direct deposit, bill pay etc. starting to be taken out of your new accounts, then wants it's active go back to BOA and close your accounts. The credit unions are waiting for your business.

Bank of America is the worst bank...they don't care about their customers, they wanted to eat your money like anything. I can't even make a deposit check under someone elses name on the check without joint account, their rules sucks, i hope they are happy because my accounts are in negative now. I have no income and two kids to support and a wife, what the hell is wrong with B of A. God is watching everything, and he will punish the culprits.

Bank of america in hurrisonburg near the mall,the branch right there took care of the CS so slow i was going to wiring and i canceled because i waited so long

I have never delt with a bank that treats their customers like left over doggie do-do. If you call and try to reach an agreement with BofA they use absolutely no tact or diplomacy and tell you to never call or write to them.
This is all because I had asked them to "validate" my account. Since they were/are unable to do so they "slammed the door in my face"
According to BofA THEY are never to be questioned!

I went to bofa the other day to cash a city rebate check. Because I did not do my banking with bofa they wanted to charge $6. I got this rebate because I am low income. Bank of America is sick!

BOA is paying what other banks are paying for a CD.I checked today and the top was 1.20. Banks are a little safer then putting it under your mattress. Thats all they have to offer. All banks are eating bad loans which is hard for them to digest. Buy American and you will help our society.

Bank of America has gotten to big for their pants. They have gone downhill since Hugh McColl stepped down. I used be proud that I worked for them. My retirement is worthless. Brian Moynihan better start telling the truth, not like Ken Lewis, & get them out of this crisis. I worked hard for 29 years & this is what I am delt. Seriously.

bank of America still uses excessive fee's to bolster their bottom line..make a mistake and look out...they still cash check from highest amount first..this is the worst bank..DON'T DO BUSINESS with them.they are the worst for customer service. everytime i'm in this bank there is someone closing a account over the fee issues..sorry stock holders poor management will ruin this bank..ps..i have been a customer and business customer for over 30 years and will be closing all accounts

Me and my husband had joint accounts at Bank of America. When my husband passed away, I went into the local office to close the account. When I give the information that was needed for the account. Not making aware that there was another existing account that should have been closed. I now have to go back the fourh time and pay the bank for overdraft. NOT MY MISTAKE!!! But charged for it!

Bank of ASS has become so big of a company that they are forgetting about customer satisfaction. They cut costs and hire a bunch of idiots to work for them who think they know what they're doing. They are contributing greatly to this F'd up economy. They are supposed to be helping people not Fucking them over.
