opened 2/20/ not the most easy process but It works fine. transfer money into new account seem like to much extra work and the bank does not state if threre any transfer linked bank fees if so no bank charge listed. sounds like some were hit with 30 dollar fees not right.

They may do a soft credit pull to verify your personal info. No hard credit pull.

Not one problem with iGO make weekly deposits and see the acct go as I planned for this acct to do. Paid off the car balance 2% with my money then opened a iGo acct and started paying iGO acct with what would of been a car payment at 5.17% or 7.17%(add save 2% Ford loan)for the next 26 months(would of)term left on car, not only do I have my money back but an extra $3500...

I am not wild about the Maximum's. You can Deposit any amount. However, withdrawls are limited to $15,000. daily with a maximum of $25,000. per month.

Wow... There's so much negative comments on iGO. The 5.30% caught my eye just like everyone else. Gonna stick with Apple Bank (Grand Yield Direct). Seems like it's not worth the effort with iGO. Expecially if you can't get a response from their customer service department.

I've seen enough comments now to know I will be going elsewhere. They can keep their 5.3%, because the horrible customer service and account hassles that come with this bank are not worth the reward. Thank you to all who posted.

Two months to open the account but now I've decided to close it. I call and was told I had to email my request. Two weeks later and the account STILL hasn't been closed. What a rubbish bank.

That's funny. Everybody's having a problem with this bank except me. I opened my account without a glitch. I also received my 2 test deposits the day after they notified me the deposits would be in my linked account. By the way, if you don't want to be assessed ACH fees on deposits, just mail a check. I tried it a few times and eveytime, my deposits posted the 2nd day after I mailed the check. Now I just sit and watch my interest grow.

Opened the account online a month ago. Verified the deposits into my checking account and since then, nothing from the bank. I called and they said my address was too long for their system to handle, so please send a check to activate the account. Bob V's comment about the $5,000 ACH transfer limit out is correct.

I am really interested in opening an account with this institution because of the APY, but I keep seeing negative feedback. Has anyone has a positive exerience yet that would recommend this bank?

After 5 phone calls and 2 weeks of time I finally have access. To top it off, I had to do the 2 test deposit verification again (2 more days) before I was able to use the account. My second deposit took 7 days to show. I don't think I will be using this account.

Limited to $5000 per month
for express transfers via ACH. Anything over, will be
assessed transfer or ACH fees. Not happy with that at all.

Openned an account last week. They have had my openning deposit for 5 days but I still have not been given access to my account. The slowest of the 5 online banks I have opened accounts with. I hope they get better.
